Deri James, BA (Hons)1971 to 1973InformationI
was a prefect at Thomas Delarue School when Judith Jones (nee Underwood) was
Head Girl. Brief
resumé:- In
1976 I became an EO in the DHSS. I
became a HEO and was a SEO (Acting) when I left in 1985.
For the next four years, I was a Systems Programmer for ANZ Bank.
I then had a short spell as a C Programmer for a Software House before
taking up my present job as a Systems Programmer for a Stockbroker. I was Treasurer of the Cranbrook Mini/Junior Rugby club until three years ago when Ceri was 17 and moved to a Womens Team at Sevenoaks. Ceri is currently scrum-half for the Welsh Womens Rugby Squad. As an aside, I think she is the only girl in the country who played in a boys team till she was 17 - the RFU won't allow mixed teams after age 12.
