Information

As many of you know, Richard had a long history with Scope, which started when he was a student at a Thomas Delarue School.

Richard obtained a degree from the Open University and worked for many years at the Civil Service Commission in Basingstoke.

He served as a member of various Scope committees - most notably on the Finance and Scope Individual Grants (SIG) committees - and over the last two years as a member of Executive Council.

He was also heavily involved in the South East region as the Vice Chair for many years and also Alpha.

He has over the years made a significant contribution to the work of Scope.

Richard died in 2001 after being admitted to hospital with a leg infection which then, unfortunately, spread to his lungs.
